Odd post at the bottom

    I’m new to WP but have selected the SG grid theme. My main front page containing the latest posts has 3 columns and 4 rows but and odd post at the bottom making 10 in total if that makes sense. I want to remove the odd one at the bottom so that I have a total of 9 posts displayed. Please help
