Sell tickets on this post metabox not showing

    I can not for the life of me get this plug in to work. It is my understanding that once the plug in is installed and set up I should be able to create a new page/post and there will be a box saying sell tickets on this post. That box is not showing for me. I try to use the short code [ticket event=”708″] (708 is the page ID I want to sell on) and nothing shows on the published page.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I’m providing assistance to Joe while he’s on vacation, and this is beyond what I’m able to take care of. I’m notifying him about the issue, and he’ll get to it as soon as he can, although his internet access will be limited while traveling.

    I’m going to be looking at this plugin along with the Calendar today and if I’m able to help sooner I’ll reply back here.

    Do you have Pages enabled for ticket sales? The steps are described on the plug-in’s Help screen, but in brief, you need to

    1) Enable the post type you want to sell for on the settings page.
    2) Go to edit the Page you want to sell tickets for (e.g. page ID 708)
    3) Click the checkbox on the panel below the page content to “Sell tickets on this page”

    Then you can fill in the appropriate information for that event and save it.

    ok I got it. I didn’t realize I had to click on pages in the selection box. I just thought it was a list of what was activated by default.
