Moving Site images

  • Hi, the site I’m working on, ourheritagemuseum.org, is a photo archive with over 5000 images. I am trying to move it from hostgator to eHost. For the most part this migration was successful, but only around 200 images were imported into the new site. Does anyone have any idea why this might be and any way i can fix it, i.e. tools that can copy all the images and move them from one site to another? Thanks,

    The only way I know how is to copy the \wp-content\uploads folder to your desktop, then import them through the Media upload function. You can do more than one at a time, but not 4800.
