• Hello,

    i recently installed the newest Version of wp-members on my WP 4.3.1 install to create an area that is only viewable to registered members on my webpage.

    I managed to create a page that is only viewable after logging in (checked the ‘block page’ Checkbox).
    My problem is, that i want my registered users to post on that ‘secure page’, but i cannot seem to find how to block categories.

    How can i create a ‘blocked’ category that users can post on, so only registered members can see these posts?

    I’m not exactly sure what your intended outcome is, but basically post titles and excerpts will be displayed on archives (category, posts by month, etc). After clicking the “read more” the user will be required to log in.

    If I understood correctly, Huppi88 meant a post, not a page.

    A post is blocked, but if you try to go the category of a post, somehow the archive shows everything – title and contents of blocked posts.

    https://yoursite.com/category/post => blocked
    https://yoursite.com/category/ => shows contents of blocked posts

    I could work around by creating a page instead of a post. A page is not connected to a mandatory category. If you block a page, can’t access without loggin in.
