Import Blogger XML Error

    I am trying to import my older posts from blogger when I got this error message.

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/46/11149446/html/appeal/wp-content/plugins/blogger-importer/blogger-importer.php on line 227

    I’m running WordPress 4.3.1. I’ve installed Twenty Twelve theme. I’ve deactivated and deleted all plugins. But I still get the same error.

    I noticed the xml file was 212kb, so I used gzip and got it down to 41kb. The max upload is 64mb; is there any way to split or make the xml file even smaller.

    I’d appreciate any constructive feedback.
