Solving Woocommerce multiple categories displayed category on shop page

  • Hi, I have a question. How does Woocommerce decide which category to show on the shop page (below the product) when a product is in multiple categories? I believe it is alphabetical. Is there a plugin to choose which category is to be shown?
    I found this plugin called WP Category Permalink https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-category-permalink/ and I’d like to know if you think it can solve the problem?
    I would happily try but it says only the premium version works with Woocommerce and I’m not absolutely sure it will do the job.

    As the WP Category Permalink plugin co-developer, yes, the plugin would allow you to choose your preferred category.
