Issues with Evolve and bbpress CMS

  • Essentially, when I use Evolve as a theme the BBpress replies menu in the CMS produces a 500 internal server error (you can see the error here. I spent a considerable time editing the site using this theme, only to discover this error when someone needed a reply edited. Is there anything in the code that would cause this?

    Hi, I am bumping this as I have yet to have any response and I would really like to be able to use this theme but with the error that it causes in the ‘replies’ in the CMS I feel unable to.

    Is there any advice you can offer, or a fix available to resolve this issue?

    Hi,

    That does not provide any clue. A 500 internal server error is a “catch all” error message.

    You need to look into your server error log.
    See what’s causing the error.
    You should be looking for any PHP fatal error recorded in your server error log.

    If you found any, paste it here in this forum.
    Don’t paste the entire log here.
    Only the PHP fatal error message.
