Installed latest update last night and today I can upload images through the default media manager, but after pressing to insert into post, nothing happens…. ever.

Tried deactivating two other plugins that updated last night, but no go. Deactivated this plugin and images were working fine again. Not sure how or why. First time I’ve ever had any issue with this great plugin, but had to deactivate it until the issue is resolved.

  • In Chrome or Firefox while being on Post Edit screen press F12 and select the Console tab.

Press the Add Media button, make a screenshot of the errors reported in Console and post it here. Or you could just copy/paste the errors here.

I doubt it’s something related to GADWP (I wasn’t able to replicate it), but we’ll see.

Yeah, would’ve surprised me too if it was GADWP.

Activated GADWP and tested it first, working fine now. Images inserted properly. Console showed no errors on the post editor at all. I’ll continue to monitor it and record the errors if it happens again.

What is certain is that disabling GADWP fixed the issue. I fully expected to get the errors again by activating it today. But as of right now, all systems go.

Good thing, too. I use this plugin daily. Great tool.
