I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure this out, and also enlisted the help of a developer friend of mine but no use. For some reason, this plugin is using the incorrect file paths for older images uploaded to website hosted with WP Engine.

After resizing the first few of the most recent images, it begins giving the following error:

“The error message was: The originally uploaded image file cannot be found at /nas/wp/www/cluster-42007/myusername/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/39140_screenshots_2013-08-16_00002.jpg

For some reason, the file path uses the WP Engine username instead of the website domain name. Note the error doesn’t occur for “old” images but older ones–that is, images that were successfully resized last week can no longer be found.
