Vote button background color override..??

I’ve got a poll question setup, but the background color of the button is getting set with #f3f6f8. I’m trying to change this to my site button color of #bf1e2e.

I don’t see the f3f6f8 color set anywhere in the plugin settings, so I tried to override it via my child theme’s CSS like this…

.wp-polls .Buttons {
    background-color:#bf1e2e !important;
}

That is still getting overridden by the plugin style, though. Firebug shows that my rule is there, but it’s scratched out and the original color still takes precedence.

Any info on how I can resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
