• After updating wordpress to 4.3.1 the plugin page builder was de-activated and is no longer visible under plugins. When I try and re-download it it is stated that I already have the plugin.

A number of other plugins will now not update inclding the visual editor. The alignment on my site has completely changed now that the page builder is no longer active. Major problem! Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

  • You need to go into your FTP client (cpanel, FileZilla, etc.) and navigate to the file manager. Then you will need to go to the public_html – wp-content – plugins and in there you will see a folder titled page-builder (or something along those lines), delete that page-builder folder. Then enter back into your WordPress website and try installing page builder.

    Great Thanks,
It’s sorted now. I also had to delete and re-install a few other plugins which is not ideal with wordpress updates but hey ho.

    Thanks.

Glad I was able to be of assistance.
