Hello! First, let me thank You for a great plugin that I am able to use. I really appreciate your work.
I do have a little question. I tried to translate the plugin into my language, and I did translated it at most of the parts, using language files, and settings in a plugin, but what I can’t find is how to translate red error messages that appear in a widget and pop up error messages. I think thats quite important.
Please let me know if there is a way to do that.
    Thank You very much!

I tried to edit both, es-widget.js and es-widget-page.js files with no luck. First I thought it might be because of encoding, but I can’t confirm.
It seems that changing es-widget-page.js doesn’t do anything at all.
Now when I edit es-widget.js the really strange things begin. When I try to edit line: “alert(“Please enter email address.”);” – it doesn’t work. Then I tried to delete symbol by symbol. I deleted last s from work address, and it showed it nicely, then I deleted more, it worked ok again, I left only P. and it still showed the window! Now when i started to input something – NOTHING. Don’t work again. I had to replace the line to the default to get it back working again.
    This is so weird…
And no one seems to care.

    Have you found the solution?

    Hi,

Currently, it is not possible to translate all the strings from the plugin specially from the .js files.
However, the same is in our roadmap but it will take us considerable amount of time to make all the strings from the plugin translatable but we will surely do it in future releases of Email Subscribers.

    Hi,

Email Subscribers v3.1 is live now and it allows you to translate all the strings from the plugin using loco translate or gettext filter.

Please update Email Subscribers to latest version (v3.1) and have a check with the functionality.
