• Hi, I am confused here.

Please help me and let me be clear…

*if I have a button that normally would be 230 width by 80 height… what should I upload to allow the Retina plugin to do its work? And what resolution also? There does not seem to be a statement on this simple point.

*if I have a large banner that is 500 width by 300 height… what image dimensions should I upload to allow the Retina plgin to make a Retina version? Also, what resolution?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello,

For a button it’s more tricky because it’s a defined size. Should be part of the theme or a plugin that handle this for you. It’s a special case. However, you can do it with Retina (Pro version). Just upload a bigger version of the upload in the Retina dashboard in the very right column (Retina for Full-Size).

If it is 500×300 then you need an image that is more than 1000×600 in size. The plugin will automatically resize it for your banner (if it is a registered size, and it should be).
