• Hi there,

I’m using this plugin and it apparently works well, but when I shrink the browser to check how my website would look on mobile devices, the responsiveness seems to be affected, as it makes a mess overlapping the pictures and descriptions of my products. Other than that, it works beautifully.

    Please, help me with this.

PS: I’m using the free version of this plugin.

  • Hi!
Mobile responsiveness is a premium feature.

    Hi

Before this wasn’t the case, also not with the non-premium version. After either a WordPress update or the plugin update I also noticed this overlapping issue (categories and products overlap each other in the beginning). This happens when the browser is small (mobile devices but also with internet explorer). Hope that they will work on this feature soon, so maybe give it a few days.

    Brgds, Sjuard

I am having the same issues with the overlap and I paid for the premium version.

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have a developer fixing the problem with the overlap at the moment. An update release concerning it will be up as soon as possible.

I have the Premium version now and I have this issue with a desktop layout (when ticking ‘custom layout’) the text would overflow all the way, making the footer going up and thus making a complete mess.

Please fix this ASAP, it’s really annoying.

    Hi,

Have you tried changing the grid size of the custom page under the “Styling” tab? The default size might be too small, which makes the elements overflow.

Let me know how it works out for you.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

I’ve just done what you have suggested and seems working. However, a new problem comes up. When I shrink the browser, product details (I use a custom product layout) disappears. Why is that? How can I do to show my products on mobile as well?

    Hi tcn,

Can you post a link for the disappearing product details?

This is what it looks like (when the browser is shrunk).

    Hi tcn,

On the “Product Page” tab, there’s a dropdown that says “Selected Layout”. If you switch from “Regular” to “Mobile”, it will let you create a layout for smaller screens. Alternatively, you can switch “Product Page Type” to “Custom Page – Large Screen Only” under “Options” -> “Premium” to use the default page for smaller screens.

    Hello,

I’ve made a mobile layout, but still it doesn’t show part of the text. No matter how much I drag to the left the div-like squares on the backend. Any fix?

    Hi tcn,

How big are the page elements that you’re using? The biggest problem with custom layouts is that they’re static, so you’d want to put a min-width on the div that holds your page content that is at least as wide as your layout.

    Hello,

Sorry I don’t understand your answer. If custom layouts are troublesome, what can I do instead? My purpose is to make items mobile-ready, with social icons (if possible, not a mandatory option), but look efficient overall, this is, without ‘strange’ layouts showing up (missing texts, overflow contents, etc.).

I was wondering if I chose “tabbed content”, I would be able to change the size of the description div and/or add more tabs.

Sorry for my multiple questions but I think this plugin is packed with flaws that should be fixed. Other than that, I like its simplicity and the functionality.

    Hi tcn,

There are pros and cons to the tabbed vs custom layouts. Tabbed layout will display all content without overflow, in a responsive way that should look good on any screen size. To change the sizing of elements though, you’d have to use CSS, either added to the style.css file for your theme, or in the ‘Custom CSS’ area of your catalogue.

The custom layout lets you easily change the size of elements and rearrange them, but it’s a static layout so you’d need to make sure that the content fits in to whatever size of layout item you create. It also means that you need to make sure that the div holding the content is at least as big as the content on all screen sizes.

Tabbed is easier to get set up so that it looks good on all devices, custom is more customizable but can look weird on some screen sizes depending on the layout created since it is static.

Hi, I’ve tried changing the container divs with CSS and apparently works fine. However, is it possible to add new tabs?

    Thank you.
