WordPress in a subdirectory troubles

  • Your host doesn’t have index.php setup as the default document. You can try adding this to your .htaccess if you host uses apache servers.
    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

    Thanks for your help.
    My host uses asp 2.0 Servers but he support php and mysql.

    If you can, move to a “normal” server… and in the meantime tell your host to make index.php a valid index file.

    My host said:
    We run php version 4.3.4 (WordPress requires 4.2 or greater) and MySQL version 4.1.18-standard (WordPress requires version 4.0 or greater), so you should be fine. It runs with more features on Apache (using mod_rewrite) than it will here on IIS, but it will work. I’ve done test installs that worked fine.

    Do like moshu said and tell your host to make index.php the default document.

    The problem is solved.
    Thanks a lot for your support.
    In the ISS Manager was index.php missing.
