Since the new version of WP 4.3.1 it seems that the plugin has severe issues.
I cannot see it in the menu anymore and cannot acces the data (Not visible on site & not accessible via menu anymore)

Things I did to resolve the issue:

    – Reinstall 4.3.0
    – Roll back to 4.3.0
    – Reinstall Pro plugin
    – Delete Pro and try “Free” version
    – Tried FTP & uploading zip via interface
    – Rolled back to previous version of plugin

All without any success, does anyone have an idea what I can do next to try and get this to work again?

Encyclopedia Lite 1.6.1 works flawless with WordPress 4.3.1.

I would recommend the following steps:

    1. Update WordPress to the latest version
    2. Update PHP to the latest version
    3. Deactivate and remove all versions of Encyclopedia
    4. Install the Encyclopedia plugin via your dashboard and activate it
    5. Go the Encyclopedia options page, check each option and hit the save button at the end of the page

Activated Encyclopedia Lite this morning and it crashed my site. Had to restore from a backup? This was a fresh install and everything was up to date?

@arnett187 Sorry, but “crashed my site” is not a useful description of anything. Please start your own thread with a detailed description of your installation, server environment and error messages.

I tried all of the mentioned solutions. It is possible to run the “Lite” version. It works as expected.

When trying to install the “Pro” version (1.5.2)

    I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WordPress\Plugin\Encyclopedia\AJAX_Requests in /home/content/94/8672194/html/wordpress/design/wp-content/plugins/encyclopedia-pro/classes/class.ajax-requests.php on line 3

It could be that the error is thrown because I have both of the plugins. When I de-activate and delete them both and try to install the “Pro” version alone, the problem persists. It seems to be installed, but is not shown in in the menu.

This forum is for the free lite version of the plugin only. You cannot get any support for the premium version here.

Okido too bad. Will have to look for other option.
