Jetpack out of memory when connecting to wordpress

    Keep getting out of memory errors but only when I connect Jetpack.
    I can install the plugin, but once I click the ‘connect’ button and authorise, I get this back at the website:
    /plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-admin.php on line 103. The website still functions fine.
    I also notice that on the dashboard, the JetPack News shows an out of memory error too.
    I’ve switched off various plugins but I still get this error.
    Any one help?
