One approach would be to create a child theme off of the Zerif Lite theme with a custom header.php file and write-up the slider code there. You will also need to enqueue any JavaScript files/libraries you need in the functions.php file for this child theme. Make sure any JavaScript library you use isn’t already called by WordPress (see the enqueue link I provided above).

well i installed wordpress via the application vault on black night(my host) so i cant upload a child theme directory
