    hi guys!

if i’m uploading images through the tool, they won’t show up in media selection – only as broken images. Folders serverside have all a 755 permission. All images get uploaded in /wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2015/10 and I can see the files through Terminal on my server – but not in the wordpress media selection backend.

What am I missing here? Some help would be greatly appreciated! Thx!

    Alex

Sorry for the delayed reply! I suspect that there is a plugin or theme conflict on your website. Could you please try if the error still occurs with only this plugin activated with a default WordPress theme (e.g. twentyfifteen). I understand this can be a bit of a hassle but it’s the only way we can be sure it’s a bug in this plugin.

    Hello,

I’ve got the same problem and don’t see the images in the media uploader. I think this happens because of the .htaccess in the dlm_uploads folder.

I tried to deactivate all other plugins and change to default theme, but with no success.

Any idea on how to show the images in the media uploader?

    Thanks
    Thomas

    Hey Alex & Thomas,

I just read through your initial post. We misread it wrong earlier. This is a standard behaviour of the plugin. As Thomas pointed it out, to protect your downloads all the files uploaded through “Download Manager” are uploaded inside a “dlm_uploads” directory. This folder has a .htaccess file that prevents direct access. This is the reason the thumbnails are not displayed.

This is not a conflict with anything else and is the way our plugin works. I apologise for the confusion.
