No Video in Chrome

  • Hi, After having no problems using the html to embed a gallery in a page (not a widget) using the code in Firefox, I found out that the video is not working in Chrome. I get sound but no video. COuld you tell me what I’m doing wrong? Here’s my embed code.

    Works fine as a widget, but I need this to work in posts, on Chrome. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    I found an odd issue. Maybe this will help. When I put the same code twice in a row, the second one shows but the first doesn’t. It’s right under a picture is all I can think.

    Alright, I think I figured something out that could help you with this odd problem. For some reason I need a shortcode item before it or it doesn’t display. anything will do. Just brackets. However this does mess with my design, so I thought I’d share what I found.

    Your shortcode is working in my development environment. You have a problem with your WordPress Theme or with a plugin.

    I’m not sure what it is exactly, but adding another shortcode element before it makes it show. In my case I’m using a spacer with 0 height. I’m using a very basic theme. The only thing I can figure is that there is an image just above it in the text box. Not sure why that would cause this though.
