I think my site is on a list

    When viewing the “Live Traffic” report I am getting lots of requests that append the string ?list1=1111 (numerals vary but follow the same pattern).

    There have been other recent issues that Wordfence has helped me clean up, and I’m guessing the site must now be on a list. Is there any way that I can block traffic that has this “?list” string at the end of the URL?

    The “advanced blocking” section doesn’t seem to have this as an option, and I don’t think I want to use “Immediately block IP’s that access these URLs” because the URL itself is fine.

    Currently, this isn’t possible in Wordfence, but we do have a feature request open for allowing wildcards to match patterns in the “Immediately block IP’s that access these URLs” option, that may be implemented in a future version. I will add this post to the existing request, since this would be a good benefit of the feature (our internal reference number for this is FB872).

    If you know how to use “rewrite” rules in .htaccess, that is one way you could block them manually, in the meantime. (Unfortunately, we can’t provide support for that here, but you might find someone on the main www.ads-software.com forum that could help.)
