  • Hello @jongoodson, you have to create your menu as custom links not pages. And in custom links, ‘section id’ is defined. So that when those links are clicked then it takes user to that particular section. However, you can find the detail explanation regarding the menu creation here: https://doc.evisionthemes.com/evision-corporate/#item_8
    Hope that helps!

Hello WEN, thank you for your nice reply.

Yes, i have made menu (home/About Us/Products/Blog.. etc) with custom links , both for Front Page menu and Inner Pages Menu, i also put the ‘section id’ on the URL.

I did all the instruction in HERE

I think i know the problem, but didn’t know how to solve this.

In my website, when i went to blogs (‘The earth in Indonesia is on fire’) and then i clicked ‘Home’ menu to go back, the url appears: ‘https://gucindo.com/the-earth-in-indonesia-is-on-fire/#evision-corporate-slider’ INSTEAD OF ‘https://gucindo.com/#evision-corporate-slider’ which is the correct URL.

Is there any misconfiguration in permalinks?

    hi @jongoodson,
i happened to check the theme’s support pages and came across your question.
i have not used the theme so far, but reading WEN’s answer, i can see the theme has 3 diffenrent menus: Home, Inner and Social (check here), and i guess you’ve created the Home one but you’ve not prepared the Inner one yet.
    just a guess though… hope that’s it.

Hi @maxgx, thanks for your reply..

Like what i said at my previuos post, i have made Front Page Menu and Inner Page Menu with same configuration. The problem was, I could not back to navigation menu (Home/About Us/Products/Blog..).

You can compare/ check the url after click in to navigation menu(Home/About/ etc..):

    Problem: gucindo

    It should: eVision

sorry jongoodson, i overlooked your reply, my bad!
not sure how to help out, then, as i said i haven’t tried the theme.
i bet WEN is about to come to the rescue ??
    best

In my website, when i went to blogs (‘The earth in Indonesia is on fire’) and then i clicked ‘Home’ menu to go back, the url appears: ‘https://gucindo.com/the-earth-in-indonesia-is-on-fire/#evision-corporate-slider’ INSTEAD OF ‘https://gucindo.com/#evision-corporate-slider’ which is the correct URL.

By the inspection, it looks like that you have not created custom link for home. It means you are supposed to redirect the user to homepage when Home is clicked. For this, just add a custom link in menu with href as “https://gucindo.com/”. Now if Home is clicked then it will take user to the home page.

Similarly, for other menu items you have to create custom links with href as:
for example: to create custom link for:

    – ‘About’ your href should be as https://gucindo.com/#evision-corporate-about
    – ‘Services’ your href should be as https://gucindo.com/#evision-corporate-service
Note: This menu structure should be assigned for Inner Page Menu.

For Front Page Menu, structure should be something like:

    – ‘About’ your href should be as #evision-corporate-about
    – ‘Services’ your href should be as #evision-corporate-service

This might do it for you. Thanks!
