Error Activating WCP Contact Form Plugin

    Hi

    I have installed the WCP Contact Form Plugin and I have received the following error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home2/outsidp0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wcp-contact-form/wcp-contact-form.php on line 30

    I tried uninstalling and re-installing but the same error appears again and again.

    Can you help me?

    Hi Patrick,

    If you have following error “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING” after the plugin installation, please check PHP version on your server.

    Minimum required PHP version – 5.3.0.

    Hi

    Yes it was resolved by updating the php version.

    I had the correct version on my test server from one hosting provider but my client’s hosting provider did not have that version as default and so I upgraded.
