Removing Header Image (Twentyeleven)

Hi, I have recently moved a WP site from the rootfolder to a subfolder. I’ve made new 1-click installations in additional two subfolders of the same webhotel. I have copied the Twentyeleven and Twentyeleven childtheme from the initial installtion to the two new installations.

Two modefications to the theme were not transfered from the first to the later two. The original Twentyeleven menubar bar color and the header image were transfered to the themes in two new subfolders.

The menubar color i managed to edit earlier today and it seems to work. By doing this ( https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/twenty-eleven-menu-bar-color )

Removing the header image however has not succeeded. I’ve went through this and this but it does not seem to work

I get just text at the top of the page.

This mentions some differences between updates (in the comments section) but still does not work

What am I doing wrong?

I still have not figured out what modefications I did the first installation (the childtheme does not contain an functions.php so I must have found another way to remove the header. I do not think that removed it directly from the main theme though)

The first installation was made to:
philipadamsen.com

and moved to:
philipadamsen.com/curriculumvitae

the two new installations can be found on:
animalmonsterboy.philipadamsen.com
donovan.philipadamsen.com

What I’m aiming to do is to have animalmonsterboy.philipadamsen.com and donovan.philipadamsen.com look identical to philipadamsen.com/curriculumvitae (only with different content).
