Hyperlinks not shown in video description

  • Hello Aleksandar,
    thanks for your wonderful work, the plugin is awesome!
    I have some videos in my YouTube channel that contain some hyperlinks to my Facebook and Twitter page, but when I enable the description of the video these hyperlinks become text instead of anchor elements.
    Something wrong in my configuration?

    Hi roly7210,

    Thank you for contact. All is good with your shortcode, I does not provide option to keep formatted HTML for description, because if you cut description length in the middle of HTML code, you can broke page where shortcode/widget is inserted.

    To prevent that, I made all HTML code to be stripped from description before it’s cut and printed.

    But, I just now added to my TODO to not strip HTML from description if user set description length to 0 (which means ‘do not shorten description’.

    Can you please send me link to video where you have some formatting in description, so I can analyse it and make this possible?
