Caption text from [post_image] showing up in [post_excerpt]

I’m loving your plugin but I’m having issue with captions associated with [post_image] in my post being pushed out to the [post_excerpt] like so:

Is there a way to strip the captions from [post_image] so they don’t show? I have need of using both [post_thumbnail] and [post_image] in my lists so I’m using the fallback, but when there is a caption it looks really bad.

Here is my code:

• [post_image width=”125″ position=”first” use_fallback=”1″ return=””]
  <h1 class=”home_list”>[title]</h1>
