Whole site is suddenly blank!

  • Hi everyone,

    My site has gone blank.

    I was installing multiple plugins for the site.

    First i uploaded Zencache and Better WordPress Minify.

    While I was in the Zen cache it said to add in some code to the .httacess file. I did this and thought all was ok. I later deleted it and then the site was still working.

    But then I installed Better WordPress Minify plugin and minutes later wanted to deactivate it and then wanted to delete the plugin but I kept getting an error message.

    I then came back to my site and it was blank.

    I can’t even see anything in the admin section of the WordPress.

    I would really apperciate anyones help on this as I have all the information saved in the ftp and I can see the themes but in the Admin section I can’t see anything it looks like an empty shell.

    Could someone tell me the steps on how i can fix this?

    Really need your help as this was just a website for my dad and now it’s gone after months of work ??

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
