Custom template returns blank page

Hi there,

I am trying to create and use custom templates, but it is not working.

I created “custom.php” and moved it to “/mytheme/upw” folder.

Have chosen custom template in widget settings and entered “custom” in the name.

This results in a page with header, menu and site title showing up. When deleting the file, the plugin again uses the standard template.

Please advise.
