Jumps down too far

    If I insert a paragraph break after the [1. then it works much better, but it does not return to the right place when clicking on the blue arrow icon.

    I have encountered similar problems in the past. From my experience they seemed to be theme related.

    A solution that works for me is using a plugin called Hash Link Scroll Offset.

    You might want to give that a try.
