SSL Issue – "Pending" payments in PayPal Standard

Hi

Anyone else had this issue – when taking payment through gravity forms paypal standard the payments are “processing” – also cant update plugins

I thought i had to get ssl so have a private ssl (hostgator – yes I know don’t need to say anything!) but since buying it not been able to update plugins

Get this error – Download failed. Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

Now hostgator is saying its a plugin error? Paypal say i shouldnt need an ssl as the payment is taken on their site?
