Fade-in and recent posts squares troubles after Polylang

Dear all,
I installed Polylang to have two languages for my site.
The moment I installed it, I had some troubles that are not solved deactivating the plug-in.
1. All the columns with the fade-in option don’t show in the final site (but they do in the visual composer). The columns show if I remove the fade-in option.
2. In my homepage I had recent posts (for both blog and portfolio) shown in squares that were in the site of the related picture. After Polylang, the square is longer (picture are same size of before, there basically is a longer blanc space right under).

Given that I didn’t change anything else other that installing Polylang, what happened that gave me this troubles?
