    Hello,
I have installed the plugin and successfully connected with my MailChimp Account.

In Mailchimp I have created an automation process that immedeately sends a confirmation email to the new newsletter subscriber.

In the plugin administration I have created and configured a form for subscribers — here: https://martinvlach.cz/newsletter/

If you fill the form and submit by a red button, you get the message of succesful subscription byt no confirmation email comes into your mailbox (and no user is added to my Mailing List).

    What is wrong? Thanks.

    Hi Wlashack,

Can you switch the form over to non-ajax in the ‘edit form’ page inside of the ‘Submission Settings’ dropdown (https://yikesplugins.com/support/knowledge-base/submission-settings/).

Since the success message is displayed, there should be no reason that the confirmation email shouldn’t be coming through. The confirmation only gets displayed once the data is transmitted over to MailChimp.

Can you double check that the API request are reaching the MailChimp servers? The easiest way to do so is to check the last 24 hours of API Calls table on your MailChimp account to ensure the form data was sent/received.

You can read more about how to debug the error here:

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Thanks for answer.

Switching ro Non-Ajax did not help and generated another weird thing after confirming (see pictupre).

It is strange, becaause the communication with MailChimp servers seems to work (I do not understand what the table shows but there are rows which correspond to my activities with testing this yesterday and today).

There may be some mistake on my side in MailChimp Automation configuration (I am new to MailChimp), but I walked through the whole process several times step-by-step and found nothing that can be wrong and emails are set to be sent immedeately.

How are you setting up this automation? Is this the pro automation, or are you referring to the confirmation email being sent on double otpin?

    Thanks,
    Evan

Can you try disabling all of your other plugins and temporarily switching themes to help narrow down the issue.

    Thanks,

I have set “Double Opt-in” and “Send welcome email” because I want users to confirm their subscription. So this may be the problem because I do not know how and where to design the confirmation email (with link to confirm subscription).

Then the terminology you are using is actually incorrect. The Autoresponder is a completely different thing altogether, and a premium upgrade to MailChimp.

Can you email me at [email protected] with temporary login credentials? I’m not seeing any issue on my end – I just tested with a few forms I have setup and things appear to work as intended. I do receive the confirmation email.

    Thanks,
    Evan
