404 permalinks error

    Hi Julien,

    I was wondering if there was a way to permanently fix the 404 permalink issue. What exactly is causing that? Could I do some tweaks to fix i permanently? I receive emails once in a while from customers that cannot access their tickets.

    Also, unrelated to this issue, do you sell customization services for the plugin? I have a couple of features I would like to have (that could be useful for everyone) to customize it.

    What 404 errors are you talking about? Have you tried refreshing the permalinks?

    Yes sorry, I’m talking about the ones fixed by refreshing the permalinks. It happens once in a while and I have to fix it when customers email us that there’s an error. Before I realize I have an error, many visitors experience the 404 page.

    Strange thing that this error happens on a regular basis. I doubt this is cause by our plugin. In which circumstance is this happening?

    It happened again yesterday. I’m not sure what is causing it, a client usually emails me to let me know she can’t access a ticket. I then have to reset the permalink.

    What can usually cause this? How do I track the cause?

    Nothing should cause this randomly! It sounds like there is a bug somewhere. I’ve never heard about this issue before.

    Permalinks should not be touch, except on certain plugins activation or when visiting the “Permalinks” option page. Is anything happening at all before this problem arises? Any modification / editing at all happening on your site?

    You need to figure out how to re-create the issue on purpose if we wanna find the cause of it.
