Polylang & ACF pro > taxonomy field load all translations

    Hello
    I go back to Polylang & ACF after one year of relaxation and see that the same issues are still here. I wonder if I am not the problem…

    I love the taxonomy field type in ACF and the fact to be able to add terms dynamicaly. So I have created some custom taxonomies with CPT UI and some terms in both English and French.

    I have a ACF field group for English and one for French with a rule to load them according to selected language.

    But when I try to edit a custom post for English for instance, the Taxonomy fields load both English and French terms melted. Its the same with hierarchical taxonomies.

    Is it an issue or do I use Polylang incorectly?

    My settings>

    ACF 5.3.2.1
    Polylang 1.7.11
    With or without Polylang Fix Relationships 0.0.2

    Permalinks
    – numeric
    – The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks
    – Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks

    Polylang settings
    – Custom post types > checked
    – Custom taxonomies > checked
    – Synchronization > all unchecked

    No front page

    I didn’t reproduce your issue, but my tests are maybe not the same as yours; Moreover I can’t test the ACF Pro version.
    I tested with:
    * ACF 4.4.3
    * Language option for ACF4+ Fields 1.3.0
    * Polylang 1.7.11
    * a Custom taxonomies “Genre” : https://nimb.ws/0pPyjO https://nimb.ws/ifGIob

    I create 2 fields groups one in English and one in French: https://nimb.ws/IW1b5B
    See options for BOOKS EN: https://nimb.ws/9EFgzw
    I did the same for BOOKS FR, selecting the French language.

    But my issue is specific to ACF 5, and I can not go back now.
    Unfortunatly the Language option for ACF4+ plugin dont work with ACF 5. That why I try to bypass the problem by using the following rules in my group.

    Show this field group if
    – Post type is equal Produt type (custom post)
    – Post taxonomy is equal English

    I have just understanding that my configuration probably can’t work this way because it just display the good ACF block but do not tell to filter by language.

    But how do others ACF 5 users? There is no Language option for ACF4+ anternative? I do not want to switch to WPML, Polylang is perfect except this.
