The free version of the this theme does not provide the option to show the menu as normal horizontal navigation. PRO version of this theme (https://themepalace.com/theme-instructions/photo-perfect-pro/ ) has an option to switch between the two modes to show menu either horizontally (like a regular website menu) or as a current default structure. Please read the documentation here https://themepalace.com/theme-instructions/photo-perfect-pro/ under heading ‘How to show category as navigation in header?’ for detail info.

Its okey. If you can customize some codes then it will be fine enough. Try creating a child theme & copy the file that you will be customizing in your child theme.
