Full page calendar: Can't see NEXT MONTH

Shouldn’t we be able to navigate month-by-month on the larger calendar? Even if I select DECEMBER on the footer widget grid, when VIEW LARGER CALENDAR page is shown, it will still be the current month. No way to see the NEXT month in on full page.
