Site Address and WP Address URL

    If you change the Site Address and/or WP Address URL from a www to a non-www domain in the General Settings area, will this cause issues with indexing? I’m just wondering if I have to follow the instructions in the Codex for Changing the Site URL just in order to change my URL from www to non-www.
