[Theme: SKT Girlie Lite] Remove Side Bar from all pages

  • Hi,

    I’m trying to remove the side bar completely from the pages of SKT Girlie Lite. I’ve tried to deactivate all the sections within the widget, but it’s still bringing up ones that I’ve deactivated so I’d just like to remove it all together.

    Any help would be brilliant.

    So I just figured out how to remove the sidebar and I have the same theme as you, although I don’t think that really matters. I’ve removed the sidebar and am now working on adjusting the width of the page since removing the sidebar didn’t expand the page width of my content. So what you need to do is go to Appearance–Editor. It will ask tell you to proceed with caution and you have to accept that you want to change the coding. From there on the right sidebar you have a bunch of options for templates. You want to click on the one that says page.php. Scroll through and look for the part that says <?php get_sidebar();?> Just remove that out of the coding, touch nothing else and click update at the bottom. That should do it! I’ll let you know when I figure out how to adjust the margins.
