Featured boxes icons

    Start off with i’m new at this.

    Now I tried to change the image in the Featured boxes. the result was my image in the polygone with a white square around it.
    The image i uploaded was a png with a transparent background.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

  • remove the image mask by commenting out the
    <span class=”skt-featured-image-mask”></span>

    in the: front-featured-boxes-section-php

    go to wp content folder, themes folder, advertica-lite folder, includes folder

    I loos the polygone shape, but keep the rest transparent.
    All in all a Win.

    Hi there. Can you help me out?
    I had the same problem and tried making the code you mentioned a comment.
    Now I’m really new to this, so I might have done it wrong.
    I just put / on either side of it
    so
    /<span class=”skt-featured-image-mask”></span>/
    and i did that in the 3 places where it showed up in the boxes section php document.
    For me, the white boxes didn’t dissapear, they just flipped downside.

    Came across your site here and just wanted to ask how exactly do I get the featured buttons to take action?

    Go to appearance>customize>home page settings>home featured box.
    Where it says ‘First Featured Box Link’ put in the url you want it to go to.
    Same goes for ‘Second First Featured Box Link’ and ‘Third Featured Box Link’
    You can change the images and text there too.
