Converting bbPress Topics to Native Posts

Hi Cory,
The first thing I will add to this plugin is the other way around, because most of the requests are that people start commenting on posts and it’s better to stop the comments, convert to topic with replies and then indicate in a post comment the link to the forum.

But once done that, I don’t see why I would not do the other way around too…

Unfortunately I have very few spare moments to work on this in this period of the year, but I will for sure keep your suggestion.

I am also looking for this functionality. I have a client with several thousand topics with replies that I need to convert to native posts with comments.

Any ideas of anything out there that at least somewhat automates the process?

Here’s a “me too” post. I also want to convert bbPress topics/replies to native posts/comments. Seems posts to topics already works so that would be brilliant to be able to go both ways.

There is a 3 yo old dead plugin on Github that might (or used to) do it so I’ll clone that and see how I go…

I did not forget about this one at all. About half of the code has been deleted and I’m rewriting it for more flexibility to be able to implement extra features. Unfortunately my attention needs to go to my professional and private life most of the time and I did not find enough time yet to continue… Hopefully one day !
