PayPal Error

  • Setup was very successful but when processing a payment, I receive this error:

    PayPal Error
    Correlation ID: 92a847da2dc4b
    Ack Code: Failure
    Version: 3.0
    Error Number: 10002
    Short Message: Security error
    Long Message: Security header is not valid

    Comments are closed.

    API id, passwords, etc were properly obtained from PayPal. Can you give me some direction on the source of this error?

    After Googling the error number and a more thorough review of coding, I discovered that when cutting and pasting one of the API values from PayPal, I had truncated a character. Once this was corrected, the PayPal transactions worked as advertized. Very nice plugin. I consider this post [resolved].
