I am unable to “upload new image” or “remove image” in the Settings of the plugin under the feed details tab. The buttons appear to be dead (in both Safari and Firefox).

Neither do the “add media” or “upload file” buttons work when adding a new podcast.

I have also had issues withe the “Add Potrac to Seriously Simple Podcasting” add-on interfering with the feed being properly submitted to iTunes and had to deactivate the add-on to get it working properly again. I have recently added the Seriously Simple Stats add-on as well.

I maintain 2 websites on 2 different servers, both with the Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin, but only have trouble with this one: https://crossfitisi.com/feed/podcast

Could something like “FastCGI” on the server be the issue?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

It appears to be a problem in the Dashboard affecting not only the plugin, but updating pages as well.

I Ran SCRIPT_DEBUG by following instructions here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

This fixed the error…BUT, now I don’t know what I should do with the “define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);” code.

If I remove it, the problem persists. Do I just leave that code there?

The problem with Javascript issues is that if there is one error in a single Javascript file from any plugin or theme then it breaks all of the Javascript on the page. The SSP Javascript is not a problem here as it has been thoroughly tested, so the issue will lie with one of your other plugins.

To debug this issue you will need to deactivate all of your other plugins and the reactivate them one by one, testing the image upload button after each activation. At the point where it breaks again, the most recently activated plugin will be the culprit and you will need to contact that plugin’s developer to ask about it.

If you need support with the Podtrac add-on please post on that plugin’s support forum for assistance.

    Cheers,
    Hugh
