  • Please clear your browser cache a couple of times, this seems to solve 95% of the reported issues.

Depending on your operating system all you need to do is the following key combination:
    Windows: ctrl + F5
    Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
    Linux: F5

Confirmed! I also just updated to the 3.0.1 and saw the issues @ekajuan reported. I cleared my Chrome cache and refresh the page and Boom! Yoast plugin back to working ??

I would suggest putting a nice little reminder at the top of wordpress to “clear your cache” so 1000s of users don’t flood here and start saying “We can’t use the plugin anymore since the update!” ya know? ??

Thanks for making the awesome plugin!

Clear cache doesn’t work for me.
    Tested on Firefox and Chrome.
    I’m in Window.

I am having the exact same problem, clearing the cache is not working, I am also not able to switch between visual and text options for editing my post.

Not works… Cleared the cache, Ctrl+R couple of times, nothing. Windows/Firefox. I think I will disable the plugin, I can’t afford this…

i use 2 wp themes, in one is working the 3.01 yoast but one have same problems :
looks like focus keywords are not accepted and
(can write but in the result i have a message that there is no keyword focus)
…also 2/3 of the yoast box are missed completely
i see only “snipped (is empty no single word is showing),focus keyword (i have one box for text),content analysys but this is completely empty ..

Someone knows a way i can go back to the last yoast version ?
i have forget to make a backup and with this 3.01 i cant work
so otherwise i like bette delete this hole yoast plugin complete

forget to say, cash is cleared

I have to confirm the bugs mentioned by the other users….

This is happening with at least 2 different themes (so far). Looks like there is a JS conflict. Here’s the error in console:

wp-seo-metabox.min.js?ver=92032ec5c34350afaeeaf3ab17b580ce:1 Uncaught ReferenceError: wpseoMetaboxL10n is not defined

This is breaking all JS on the page so even switching from Visual to Text is broken. Deactivating Yoast SEO fixes the issue.
