Files copied but my website is blank

    Hi everyone,
    I have just uploaded all the wp files and changed the wp_config file with the correct details, but when I access my website, everything is white. I can’t install the wordpress :((
    Can you please let me know where can it be the issue?

    What operating system have you installed this on? And what steps have you taken so far. Have you ensure that IIS is running? ports are forwarded? Are you hosting the site yourself or through another company?

    I’m being a little presumptuous on what the problem is, but if you are installing wordpress for the first time, I would suggested using the Microsoft Web Platform Installer (https://www.microsoft.com/web/downloads/platform.aspx).

    Here is a tutorial that will guide you through the steps of installing wordpress. (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_on_Microsoft_IIS)

    Once you are able to visit the site through the local host address (127.0.0.1) then that means you are successfully hosting the server.

    I personally have used the WPI installer on Windows Server 2012 r2, and it was very easy. There are some more steps to getting it working from outside the internet, but I will wait for a response before going any further.
