SEO Data went mssing

Hey there.

Just had a client report that there SEO metadata has gone missing. We don’t know how long ago it was, so we don’t have backed up data.

I am definitely aware that if the plugin was deactivated and deleted via the wp-admin that the data could have been deleted. However we cannot find any record of that event taking place.

I’m exploring all options here. Has this ever been reported as happening before. Could a hiccup in the server cause post_meta to just disappear.

I’m really looking for any anomalies that have ever been reported. I can’t seem to explain it.
