Featured image container missing on Feature template pages

    Hello there,

    I have a site that I just built on your theme, oakhills.org. They are using the Feature page template for their content pages, and the featured image is showing up correctly on the pages that existed up until this point (ex: https://oakhills.org/prayer/). However, when they now try to create new pages using the Feature template, the featured image does not appear at all (ex: https://oakhills.org/the-word-is-2/); when looking at the page source, I don’t see the container on the page where it should be. Please help!

    Hey Jenni,
    Sorry for the delay. Both the pages you linked to sent me to Page Not Found. Have the pages been published? Is the feature template working in the backend, just not the front? Ensure you are using the latest version of the theme and all your plugin are up to date.

    I see that you have changed the folder name of the theme. Have you changed any files internally?

    When you set the page to featured and save, then you have the options for choosing to show an image or video or slider. Are you seeing all those options in the admin?

    Regarding the 404 errors, it looks like it’s catching the end parenthesis in both URLs; if you take that out, both pages are accessible.

    All plugins are up to date.

    I did change the folder name, in order to avoid any potentially unwanted future updates, as the theme has been customized. But I did not edit the Feature page template.

    I do not see the options to show an image or video or slider. When I change the active theme back to Virtue from the renamed theme, I still don’t see them.

    Well, I updated the Virtue theme and switched back over to it, and now I’m able to see the featured image options, and consequently the featured image on the pages in question. Thank you for your time.
