Authenticate with your Google account does not work anymore

    The “Authenticate with your Google account” option does not work anymore!

    After allowing “Google Analytics by Yoast” to “View your Google Analytics data”, copying, pasting and saving the Google authentication code, the following message is given:

    There were no changes to save, please try again.

    Clearly there is a problem with this plugin.

    Please advise how to resolve this issue.
