Alexa Verification ID is rejected

    Hello,

    After pasting the Alexa Verification ID under General Settings–>Webmaster tools, I receive the message “We could not find the verification ID on your homepage. Please add the verification id to the <head></head> section of the HTML of your homepage.” from Alexa site.

    I am using WP 4.3.1 and Yoast SEO 3.0.3
