• Using wp 4.3.1 and very newbie. I have a menu that I cannot remove from the right sidebar. It does not appear on home page but on all others. Was able to drag and remove all other default widgets. This menu doesn’t even show up in any of the sidebars. When I change page template from default to no sidebar, the menu disappears. Any advice is appreciated.

    I don’t want remove the sidebar. I want to delete the menu that is in the sidebar and then put other widgets in the sidebar. Thanks.

    Appearance -> Customize -> Widgets

    If you set any widget item that default items are don’t appear.

    When I place a widget in the sidebar, it just pushes the menu down. My page is dewittchoirs.org. I have left the sidebar active on the home page and last page (pops concert). The only active widget I have in place is my event calendar (in the common top sidebar). It appears correctly on the ‘home’ page, but is joined by the menu on the ‘pops concert’ page. Thanks for your patience.
