Problems with maximum stock quantity

  • First of all I want to thank you for this great plugin!!
    It makes the shopping cart a lot more user friendly!

    I do have some issues surrounding the product quantitiy and it would be great if you could help me with them or adress them in a future update.

    1. When entering a value greater than the maximum remaining stock and hit update cart it just lets it happen and calculates the correct total. The user will only find out that there is not enough stock available when he gets the error message trying to check out.

    2. I use a plus/minus plugin to increase or reduce the quantity in the cart. When I increase the item quantity beyond the available stock using the plus/minus buttons it freezes with the buttons showing updating… until the quantity is reduced again or the page reloaded.

    I guess both problems could be resolved if there was some rollback functionality in the code that checks if there is a conflict in the selected quantity with the remaining stock quantity?

    I tried to include something like that but failed misserably so it would be great if you could help!
